1000-lb Sisters: Amy Slaton and Hiding ‘It’ Well
1000-lb Sisters personality Amy Slaton and her family may give off a very country family vibe. They have big family cookouts and have a twang in their voice. The way they refer to soda/pop as “sodies” and hang out on their porch all-day makes fans fall in love with them. But there is so much more to the Slaton’s than meets the eye. For instance, Amy and her sister Tammy Slaton love being on the internet and being famous.
But there are subtle things that point to Amy having an obsession with all things dark. She hides it well, but if you spot the Jack Skellington tattoo on her arm, you might be curious. When she goes to a psychic to find out about her pregnancy things, it gets weird when they mention a ghost cat, and Tammy and Amy go ghost hunting for it.
Nothing Harder Than Losing 600 Pounds
1000-lb Sisters co-sisters Amy Slaton and her sister Tammy Slaton are trying to lose a combined weight of 600 pounds. Amy weighs 400 pounds, and Tammy weighs 600, thus the name 1000 Pound Sisters. Tammy is struggling to lose weight and has actually gained. She is now at 665 pounds and, as far as fans know, still growing. Many people grow more and more concerned every day for her.
Meanwhile, Amy managed to lose enough weight for surgery and even become pregnant. The whole reason she wanted to lose weight was so that she could have a baby and start a family. She dropped her weight down to 270 and is getting healthier. Now that her family is started it is peeking through in pictures that she might be trying to make sure Gage Slaton shares her obsession.
1000-lb Sisters: Amy Slaton and All Things Scary
Amy Slaton from 1000-lb Sisters shows off her emo lifestyle. All things spooky liter her home and mind. The way she dresses up her son Gage Slaton may indicate they will be the family that has Halloween decorations up all year. Gage sports a skull and cross-bones pacifier and a lot of black clothing. Fans do like Amy’s style a lot, so perhaps they will like it when Gage is also able to quote Tim Burton movies by heart.
Gage is actually named after the character from Stephen King’s “Pet Cemetery.” This may be another clue pointing toward Amy wanting her son to be emo. Either way, fans can’t get enough of baby Gage and cant wait to watch him grow up.
